Course Maps

We have a mixture of race types from inshore in the bays near the Harbour, through to coastal routes and the more challenging offshore courses. Most courses involve navigating around marks such as permanent buoys, poles and even towers and islands! Please ensure you familiarise yourself with the course ahead of a race - guard boats cannot provide navigational assistance, only safety and rescue. In training you can ask a more experienced crew if they are willing to accompany you on a particular course. You may also wish to ask a seasoned boater to take you out to see the marks and appreciate the tidal conditions.
